Give young people the opportunity to seek care on their own terms in a digital youth clinic. Our platform helps lower the threshold for this patient group and supports staff in working more effectively. A unified digital entry point can also create conditions for early interventions in areas such as young people’s sexual and mental health.
Writing a question in a chat often feels easier than a phone call or booking a physical appointment. Seeking care digitally can help lower the threshold for young people who need support. It also creates conditions for healthcare to reach more patients, regardless of where they live or what obstacles they face in their daily lives.
In our platform, staff can handle cases via chat, asynchronous messaging channels or video calls, and schedule physical appointments when needed. For staff, this means a more varied, flexible way of working, less administration, and their expertise being used more effectively. At the same time, the region gets a youth clinic that more easily reaches its target group.
Confidentiality and professional secrecy can be decisive in whether someone dares to contact healthcare. The platform supports age-based access where relevant menu options are shown for the target group. Information about confidentiality and that the visit is free of charge is clearly stated on the start page.
Many of the most common cases at a youth clinic are well suited for digital contact. Our platform creates conditions for healthcare staff to handle a wide range of questions and needs digitally, and provide support for areas such as mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, questions about the body, contraception, STI testing, and more.
“The chat is an enjoyable task, the young people appreciate this way of reaching us and find it smooth and convenient.”
Youth Clinic Uppsala

Here you will find answers to some of the most common questions. Feel free to contact us if you have more.
The youth clinic has a clearly profiled digital entry point with tailored imagery and welcome text, directed straight at the target group. The entry point can either be a standalone app or exist alongside the region’s other digital healthcare services such as primary care, child health centres and 1177, all within the same app.
Through personalisation and age-based access. The menu option for the youth clinic is automatically shown only to young people in the correct age range, typically 13 to 23 years, without other users seeing it. This is done via so-called personalisation based on the logged-in user’s age, with minimal manual effort.
Depending on the clinic’s needs and way of working, the flow can be configured in different ways. Some of our customers use a triaging questionnaire where the case is prioritised and directed to the right profession based on symptoms and reason for contact. Others choose a simpler, non-triaging form where the young person selects a reason for contact and fills in background information without the case being automatically prioritised.
Many of the most common cases at a youth clinic are well suited for digital contact, for example:
• Contraception and prescription renewals
• Sexually transmitted infections and testing (STI)
• Questions about pregnancy and pregnancy tests
• Menstrual pain and bleeding issues
• Mental health, anxiety and low mood
• LGBTQ+ issues and questions about sexuality and intimacy
• Questions about the body, relationships and identity
With our solution, staff can handle cases via chat, asynchronous communication (messaging channels) or video calls, and direct to a physical appointment when needed.
The youth clinic has specific confidentiality requirements in relation to guardians and other healthcare providers. Our solution supports separate flows and entry points that protect young people’s privacy. It is made clear on the start page that visits are free of charge and that professional secrecy applies.
Our solution supports customisable appearance and content. The region’s own colours, images and texts can be applied to the youth clinic’s digital entry point. Reasons for contact, welcome texts and opening hours can be updated on an ongoing basis by the customer themselves. This makes it easy to keep content up to date and tailored to your own clinic.
