Integrations provide a coherent care journey

Insurance customers start their journey in Euro Accident’s proprietary app, through a seamless integration. Triage then takes place via Platform24, where the patient either receives self-care advice, referral to emergency care, the opportunity to book digital care or feedback to Euro Accident if there is a need for planned care.

To ensure a seamless care experience, Euro Accident has built a comprehensive digital ecosystem, where the integrations between insurance systems, healthcare providers and triage platforms play a central role. Among other things, Euro Accident’s app is connected to:

  • Platform24, which manages the digital triage and provides structured data for follow-up
  • Doktor24, where patients get quick access to digital care
  • Kuralink, for smooth handling of booking to private healthcare providers
  • EA’s insurance system, where all patient interactions are logged and updated

This approach gives Euro Accident full control over the customer flow and the ability to follow the customer’s journey through care in real time. Together with Platform24, Euro Accident has continuously improved this ecosystem over the years.

With digital triage, Euro Accident can direct patients to the appropriate level of care, reducing unnecessary doctor visits and streamlining the care process. Many cases involve musculoskeletal disorders, where the customer can then be triaged directly to a physiotherapist specializing in their specific condition. In addition to musculoskeletal problems (neck, back, knee), many cases involve simple surgical procedures and mental health problems.

The solution creates a smoother healthcare journey, allowing insurance customer to avoid long waiting times and be booked directly to the right specialist, whether it is digital visits, referrals or physical care.

Digital first – with a large network of physical care

Today, half of Euro Accident’s customers choose to manage their care digitally, while the other half prefer to do so by phone. Euro Accident sees great potential to further increase the digital share, by continuing to develop data management from triage and creating even more structured care flows.
