Platform24 thoughts about AI in healthcare: “Greater accessibility for patients”

Johannes Kriisa, Product Manager at Platform24, was interviewed by Digital Hälsa about how AI and digitalization can be used to improve conditions for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Many Swedes skip healthcare appointments due to difficulties with e-services and apps. This was reported in the Internet Foundation’s annual “Swedes and the Internet” report, which was published recently. The reasons include difficulties with booking appointments and fear of being misdiagnosed if symptoms are described incorrectly.

“We are grateful that they are highlighting this type of problem, which is essentially what we also saw and which was the reason Platform24 was created,” – Johannes Kriisa

”Ibland kan det vara fragmenterat med flera olika vägar in. Vårdcentralen kan ha ett telefonnummer, den kan ha någon länk gömd på hemsidan och en annan länk på en annan sida. Vill du söka vård för ett visst besvär så gör du på ett sätt, om du får ett utskick från vårdcentralen gör du på ett annat sätt. Att ha en plats för allt hade underlättat väldigt mycket.” – Johannes Kriisa
