Interview in SvD: “Launching Swedish AI bot for healthcare: ‘Not making it up’”

Februar 25, 2026

Svenska Dagbladet interviewed Daniel Lillienau and Puran Chen about the development of the next generation of conversation-based AI triage—built on validated medical content and adapted for use in healthcare.

“The idea is to simplify things for patients, who will have a personal assistant to help them navigate the healthcare system,” says Daniel Lillienau.

We know that millions of people seek health advice from AI. At the same time, there is growing concern about incorrect answers and lack of patient safety.

Our upcoming conversational AI triage:

  • Is based on validated medical content
  • Is integrated with the healthcare ecosystem from day one
  • Is based on natural dialogue and can handle and understand different patient needs
  • Transparent and traceable decisions and outcomes
  • Handles all patients and cases

“The AI doesn’t just make things up, it’s based on various sources of validated medical information,” says Puran Chen about the new tool.

The information is compiled by the company’s medical team and external experts, he explains.

The starting point is that AI in healthcare should be implemented responsibly, based on in-depth medical knowledge and clinical experience, always with patient safety and usability at the center. With 10 million triages without a single case of actual patient harm caused by the triage, we can confidently launch the next generation of AI triage soon.

“Daniel Lillienau says that Platform24 has strict requirements to live up to and that their service must be better than other comparable systems.”
