Through the application “Vård online”, a digital care guide and digitally integrated care platform built by the healthtech company Platform24, the patient can express his or her conditions via a chat message and be guided to the right level of care according to national guidelines. Based on this communication, the app guides patients to a digital or physical doctor, psychologist or nurse visit. The patient can also use the platform to renew prescriptions and access help for administrative matters.
Helsa care center Sundbyberg will be the first of Helsa’s 16 health centers to introduce digital care guidance and care meetings through the application Vård Online (Care online). The health center currently has about 19,000 listed patients and offers a wide range of care, from childcare centers to drop in appointments with a psychologist. In line with Helsa’s ambition to offer safe and secure care is also the ambition to develop accessible and digital care solutions.
– Offering accessible and safe care for our patients is very important to us at Helsa. Especially in the current situation with covid-19, it is extremely important that our patients can also meet us digitally and quickly and easily get the right care regardless of need for care, says Conny Mathiesen, CEO of Helsa Vårdutveckling AB and Helsa Primärvård AB.
The online care application is developed by Platform24 and will be available on Helsa’s website (www.helsa.se), 1177 Vårdguiden and by a link in the answering machine at Helsa care center Sundbyberg. ”

About Platform24
Platform24 is a full-suite telemedicine platform for acute and chronic conditions. The comprehensive and innovative solutions are built to improve access, efficiency and medical safety. The company is market leader in the Nordic region for solutions for digital communication with patients and automatic triage to the right level of care and along the entire care chain. Here you can view two presentations that Platform24 participated in during Vitalis 2025. One was by David Jaraj and RCC, who talked about digital care plans for breast cancer patients, which have incredible potential to make life a little easier for a large patient group. Stina Perdahl and Janniche then presented Platform24's accessibility work, humbly noting that although we have come a long way, it is a task that is never “finished.”
Swedish newspaper Digital Hälsa write about Platform24 being selected as the supplier when Region Dalarna consolidates its healthcare communications.
In two recent articles, the care provider Medtanken Group — active in Västra Götalandsregionen and Region Skåne — has recently signed an agreement to evaluate NoteAssist, an AI service that automatically transcribes and summarizes patient meetings into clinical notes. The service is integrated into Platform24’s platform and can transcribe both physical and digital meetings, whether conducted via chat or video. The goal of the pilot is to streamline clinical documentation and reduce the administrative burden on healthcare professionals.
