“All of these AI services, including ours, are built on the technological developments that have taken place in recent years. With the help of technology like Whisper, we have been able to refine speech recognition so that it is both accurate and understandable.” says Tobias Perdahl.
The Swedish newspaper Dagens Medicin writes about Platform24’s investment in AI transcription and how their new service NoteAssist can facilitate healthcare documentation by making it faster and more effective. The article consists of an interview with Tobias Perdahl, physician and Platform24’s co-CEO.
Tobias explains that the solution can be used in all types of healthcare encounters, from physical appointments to video consultations and chat-based conversations. The solution can also summarize various forms, for example, in triaging or ahead of follow-up visits. The information is automatically organized and placed under relevant headings in the medical record, making it easy for the healthcare provider to review and approve.
„Nothing is left unsigned without the doctor or nurse’s approval. You can also go in and make changes if you think something should be added, removed, or if there has been an error in the transcription.“
„When clinicians see how the solution works, they immediately understand how much time can be saved. Instead of manually typing or dictating notes, the information can be transferred to the medical record immediately after the call.“ says Tobias Perdahl

Here you can view two presentations that Platform24 participated in during Vitalis 2025. One was by David Jaraj and RCC, who talked about digital care plans for breast cancer patients, which have incredible potential to make life a little easier for a large patient group. Stina Perdahl and Janniche then presented Platform24's accessibility work, humbly noting that although we have come a long way, it is a task that is never “finished.”
Swedish newspaper Digital Hälsa write about Platform24 being selected as the supplier when Region Dalarna consolidates its healthcare communications.
In two recent articles, the care provider Medtanken Group — active in Västra Götalandsregionen and Region Skåne — has recently signed an agreement to evaluate NoteAssist, an AI service that automatically transcribes and summarizes patient meetings into clinical notes. The service is integrated into Platform24’s platform and can transcribe both physical and digital meetings, whether conducted via chat or video. The goal of the pilot is to streamline clinical documentation and reduce the administrative burden on healthcare professionals.
